Rules and guidelines
001.) Be respectful, reside within the proboards terms of service, don't powerplay or god-mold. You guys know the drill.
002.) BE CREATIVE ON YOUR CHARACTER MAKING ADVENTURES! Seriously, if you have an idea you feel is kick ass but you're not sure if it fits within the site or our regulations, you never know until you ask! And ask you should!
003.) We are storyline based. Please aspire to create variety, connections, and contribute ideas to the threads you are and plan to be in. We are pretty lax as far as guidelines go, so take advantage. If you prefer to go along for the ride and rarely drive plots yourself, this is probably not the site for you.
004.) You will need two separate accounts minimum (I know, I know, annoying as heck, right?) so we can keep things uncomplicated as far as character classes (you'll understand once you read how we keep track of it below).
One account is your OOC account - the one you post in non roleplaying areas, the other is your character's account. You will need separate accounts for each character (PM a staff member for information on doing collaborated storylines where you will be using more than one character in the same thread, we're not so cruel to make you post twice or deprave you of your awards 8]).
Your OOC account's username must be what you go by...well...ooc, such as in the chat box. Your character accounts' usernames must be the full names of your characters. You can space them out or make them pretty if you want.
005.) Have fun! =D YES IT'S A RULE.
Energy Classes
A gauge of how much spirit or demon energy a character possesses
A gauge of how much spirit or demon energy a character possesses
D ---> C ---> B---> A ---> S
Most demons are in the D category (the weakest), most humans are even lower. The higher up the latter you look, the fewer of both you will find. S class fighters are practically unheard of.
All characters start out as a low or mid D class psychic, angel, or demon (unless otherwise approved for storyline purposes). Your characters advance by the number of IC posts you make. The preciseness for all that good stuffs is below:
To achieve D+, you need to have made 5 IC posts
To achieve C-, you need to have made 10 ADDITIONAL IC posts
To achieve C, you need to have made 15 additional IC posts
To achieve C+, you need to have made 20 additional IC posts
To achieve B-, you need to have made 25 additional IC posts.
So on and so forth. For every higher ranking you need 5 more posts than you did to achieve the last one.
